As the temperature starts to drop and the days get shorter, the warm atmosphere at CMCCS continues to shine bright. October brought a plethora of new happenings and adventures for students, staff, and families. Teachers and students are working hard as ever to make sure learning stays strong, fun, and dynamic. The staff got to enjoy the great fall weather with a trip to the New York Botanical Garden. With a multitude of educational opportunities offered to students, many of our teachers decided to bring their classes on their own trip in the days that followed. Already prepping for a successful graduation, our 5th graders got measured for their caps and gowns. Our afterschool program has continued to grow as many families are taking advantage of the opportunity to further the education and expand the horizons of their young scholars. With fun activities, homework assistance, and a newly launched musical instrument program, the joy and learning fills our campus long after the school day ends. As a school, we welcomed our families to several events, including our Anti-Bullying Walk, Hispanic Heritage Art Show, and our costume-filled Character Parade. November is already in motion and is promising to provide an even more productive month! Stay tuned!
