Where does the time go? Although it feels like the school year just started, we are already waving goodbye to 2024! Since we last updated our CMCCS community, our students, staff, and the campus in general have been buzzing with excitement. In November, we saw our first round of Parent Teacher Conferences come and go, watched our students dress their best for Picture Day, turned our library into a Scholastic Book Fair where our students became customers for a week, celebrated Thanksgiving with a Balloons Over CMCCS event where our classes got to create their own floats and parade around the gymnasium, and, finally, ended with a potluck to build community and comradery amongst our staff. December was another busy month as we welcomed our families to the campus for a few different events, to enjoy the songs and strings of our students’ voices and instruments at our annual Winter Show and to help students decorate their desks during our week-long Deck the Desk Event. Phew! Today marks the last day before our Winter Break kicks off and both students and staff alike can relax for a few days. Students and families, thank you for a wonderful 2024 fall at CMCCS! Enjoy your break, have a happy holiday season, and a wonderful New Year!
