Cardinal McCloskey Community Charter School (CMCCS) is proud to partner with the Sanctuary Institute at Andrus, a leader in trauma-informed organizational development. Guided by the Sanctuary Model, this collaboration provides training and support to help our faculty foster a safe, respectful, and resilient school culture—ensuring students and educators can learn, grow, and thrive in a true healing community.
Cardinal McCloskey Community Charter School’s (CMCCS) strong academic performance is illustrated in the graph above, highlighting how the school exceeds the proficiency averages of New York State, New York City, the Bronx, and District 10. Across nearly all tested grades and subjects, CMCCS consistently exceeds local district and borough proficiency rates—most notably achieving 77% proficiency in 3rd grade ELA and 86% in 3rd grade Math, far surpassing the Bronx and District 10 averages. These results demonstrate CMCCS’s commitment to academic excellence and its success in providing students with the skills and support needed to thrive.
