Whew! Another few weeks has flown by! As we wrap up the second week of May, we’ve had a lot to keep us all busy on campus. Our students took trips to the Botanical Garden, Bronx Zoo, Sloomoo Institute, Kips Bay, and Belmont Park. We had a variety of after-hours events including a Game Night, Movie Night, and Spring Carnival. The 2025-26 annual lottery was held on April 2 and we will officially welcome future CMCCS scholars on enrollment day! How exciting! We celebrated our wonderful principal on Principal Appreciation Day and amazing teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week. Finally, we happily said goodbye to our science, ELA, and math state tests! Our upper grade students worked so very hard this year and all their hard work paid off with three excellent weeks of testing. Our lower grade students played their role as well, encouraging their older classmates and being extra diligent about hallway volume during the tests. We even held our very first pep rally to keep the atmosphere light and encouragement high. Well done students! We look forward to our last few weeks of hard work and celebrating our students’ success!
See You Later, State Tests!
