📚 Reading Resources for Home Learning
While CMCCS remains committed to in-person instruction, there may be circumstances that require temporary remote learning to ensure the safety and continuity of student education. Situations such as severe weather, public health concerns, or building emergencies may make it necessary to shift to online instruction. During these times, our teachers will continue to provide high-quality, structured lessons and ongoing communication to support students and families learning from home.

Reading Tips for Parents
- Read daily for at least 10–20 minutes.
- Let your child choose some of the books to build motivation.
- Ask open-ended questions (“What might happen next?” “How did this story make you feel?”).
- Celebrate progress — small steps count!
- Model reading — show them that you read for enjoyment, too.
